All new coils are custom designed and engineered for the customer’s specific production needs and application. High conductivity EC GRAGE copper tubing is selected to maximize electrical efficiency. The melting coils are electrically insulated by a high temperature insulating coating. These coils can be engineered and specially wound so that a tri­zone heating process occurs. The top and bottom sections will heat at a lower temperature than will the middle section. Top and bottom stainless steel dummy turn cooling coil maintain uniform temperature gradient throughout the refractory prevent over heating. The coil is firmly secured to insulating bars equally spaced around the coil periphery. These FRP bar provide mechanical strength against deformation during maintenance & normal operation.
